The not very high but mighty Mt.Nuolja is located in #Abisko, #Sweden. In this time lapse sequence it looks quite small and this is due to extreme wide-angle lens. When you actually visit the area you realize it is not so small, especially when you go up on top to the @auroraskystation and look down on the small village of #AbiskoÖstra.
The sequence was shot in extreme wind! Up to 40 m/s on the of 28-02-23.
In some places there are glitches. This is due to tripod being moved by the wind.
The tripod was pushed down in the snow on the lowest most stable sitting imaginable! Legs wide apart and low to the ground…
In one of the corners you can see lens flare caused by small water droplets (rain) and illuminated by the moon.
What you think might be clouds is actually snow blowing off the Mt.#Nuolja.

It’s extremely rare that I do name of my pieces. This one is called Feliz beach II.
Didn’t think that I actually come home with any images from the beach. It was virtually pitch black and the storm was brewing on the horizon. Thankfully my co-adventurer @cupcakeninjaah had the patience to wait for me… 😘 The image itself didn’t take too long, but actually getting out there was a little bit tricky without killing yourself and getting swept away by the waves…. You can’t imagine how slippery the rocks were!

Några kilometer söder om #Eksjö i #Jönköpings Län finns #Ryningsholm – #Gravfält .
På det största av de kvarvarande gravfälten står drygt hundra resta stenar. Det har genom århundradena varit utsatt för åverkan, dels har man tagit stenar för olika byggnadsändamål, dels har stora delar av gravfältet varit uppodlat. I slutet av 1920-talet restaurerades gravfältet och stenarna restes upp. I samband med detta gjordes även några mindre utgrävningar runt några av stenarna. Man hittade då bland annat brända ben, ett skifferbryne, en järnkniv och järnslagg .
